Went boots on the ground here at the beginning of May. Left the location of the tree on the map in the sign up book in the shelter. If you've seen it and checked it out, you know it's for real. What to do after seeing it is the real question. We believe LRP is just a step to finding this box. And if this box is still not found, it's not at LRP. But still in Vermont. Good luck.

Surely you took pictures of the tree. Do you mind sharing? I have also gone boots on the ground. Found an interesting Tod bot on the peak but not treasure.
